How to Install and Set Up the UC+ Mobile App

Overview

The UC+ mobile app allows you to make and receive business calls from your smartphone using your existing extension. This guide will walk you through downloading, installing, and signing in to UC+ on both iPhone and Android devices.

Before You Begin

You will need:

  • Your smartphone (iPhone or Android)
  • Your UC+ username and password (provided by your administrator or our support team)
  • An active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)

Note: If you don't have your login credentials yet, please contact your administrator or reach out to our support team before continuing.

Step 1: Download the App

Tap the link that matches your device to open the app store:

Once on the store page, tap Get (iPhone) or Install (Android) to download the app.

Tip: The app is published by Apps To Go LLC under the Utilities category. Make sure you select the correct one.

Step 2: Open the App and Sign In

  1. Once installed, tap the UC+ icon on your home screen to open the app.
  2. On the sign-in screen, enter your:
    • Username
    • Password
  3. Tap Sign in.

Step 3: Allow App Permissions

When you first open UC+, the app will ask for permission to access certain features on your device. We recommend allowing the following:

  • Contacts – lets you call people directly from your address book. Contacts stay on your device and are never uploaded.
  • Microphone – required to make and receive calls.
  • Notifications – allows the app to alert you of incoming calls and voicemails.

Tap Continue or Allow on each prompt.

Important: If you deny microphone or notification access, the app will not be able to function properly. You can update these later in your phone's Settings > UC+.

Step 4: You're Ready to Go

Once signed in, you can use the bottom navigation to:

  • Quick Dial – favorite contacts for one-tap calling
  • History – view your recent calls
  • Keypad – dial numbers manually
  • Contacts – browse your address book
  • Portal – access additional account settings

To place a call, tap the green phone icon after dialing or selecting a contact
